[01] How It Works
Two types of web scraping.
Fold Talk handles both structured extraction from specific URLs and open-ended web research for individual data points.
URL extraction
Give Fold Talk a URL (or a list of URLs) and tell it what to pull out. It opens the page in a real browser, reads the content, and extracts structured data. Works on directories, listings, conference speaker pages, team pages, any public webpage.
Web research per row
Add an enrichment column that researches the web for each lead individually. Fold Talk searches Google, visits relevant pages, and answers specific questions, 'What's their pricing?', 'Do they have a mobile app?', 'Who's the CEO?'
Real browser automation
Not just HTML parsing. Fold Talk uses a real headless browser (via Browserbase) that renders JavaScript, handles pagination, and interacts with dynamic content. If a human can see it, Fold Talk can extract it.
Results in your spreadsheet
Scraped data goes directly into your Fold Talk spreadsheet as structured columns and rows. No separate tool, no JSON files to parse. It's already in a table you can sort, filter, enrich further, and export.
